A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Stephanie Allenett Smith-Daniels of Tampa, FL who passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017, 3:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Pastor Debra Scott, officiating. Mrs. Stephanie Allenett Smith-Daniels was born in Tampa, Florida on January 21, 1967 to Willie Miller and Deborah Smith. She was educated in Hillsborough County School and graduated from C. Leon King High School in 1985. After high school she attended Hillsborough Community College and started working as a paralegal. Later she started working with Hillsborough County School System as a secretary for many years. Stephanie had a sweet spirit about her and was loved by many. She loved her family so much, especially her husband and children. She never complained, no matter how sick she became she always had a kind word for others. Stephanie attended New Hope Tabernacle of Joy Ministries. She enjoyed reading and cooking. She was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Smith and mother-in-law, Willie Mae Singletary. She leaves to cherish her memories with her spouse, Willie B. Daniels; children, Andra Antonio, Jr. Brockington, Amber and Ariel Daniels; step-sons, Jerri Daniels (Debina) and Willie J. Daniels; step-grandchildren, Romeo, Emani and Akili Daniels; father, Willie Lee Hicks and fianc Geraldine; grandmother, Eather Mae Miller; brother, Alfred Smith; sisters, Monica Johnson, Carmen Hicks, Serena Johnson and Regina Walton; brothers-in-law, Harold Scott, Johnny Lee Daniels, James Daniels and Shawn Daniels; sisters-in-law, Debra Scott, Robin Brown, Mary Daniels of Cocoa, FL and Joyce Scott Jones; aunts, Angie Massard of Cocoa, Florida and Annie Bell Mimmenger; nieces, Cierria Harris, Mashawndra Grooms (Keke), Shantae Grooms, Tranika Everett, Jazmine West, Octavia Smith, Shaniya Godwin, Tyra Williams, Trinity Brown and Minister Shareca LaShawn Hunte (Tray); nephews, Terrell Johnson (Shaeena), Edward Grooms III, Eugene Akines (Calvin Ball), Alfred Smith, Jr., Avion Smith, Travontay Brooks, Marqus Brooks and Tyrrell Williams, Ellis Everett and Terrence Everett; a host of cousins, Xavier and Yasmine Johnson and Anthony Wilson and other sorrowing relatives and friends; grandniece like a daughter, Trinay Deborah Williams; grandnephew, Lincoln Johnson; friends and staff of Hillsborough County Schools, Bing Elementary, Dowdell Elementary, Clair-Mel Elementary, staff at Davita Dialysis, Brandon, FL and a host of cousins, other sorrowing relatives and friends. The visitation will be held on Friday, April 21st from 5 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
