Stephenson was born on June 5, 1935, to the late John and Margaret Austin in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago. Stephenson enjoyed fishing, traveling, and most importantly, helping build the Kingdom of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Austin; sons, Learie Austin and Lincoln Austin.

He leaves behind cherished memories to his spouse, Adelsia Austin; son, Lennox Austin, Sr. (Velia); grandchildren, Lennox Austin, Jr., Leanita Austin George, Delacie Austin Stone, Omar Norris, Stasha Austin, and Ray Austin; great-grandchildren, Savannah George and Derrick George, Jr.; brother, Rudolph Austin; sisters, Valada Austin and Vannie Austin; nieces, Brenda Oliver Karen Austin, and Ingrid Austin; special family and friends in Trinidad and Tobago, JD Singletary and Charles Davis.
