On Saturday, January 8, 2022, God called Sugarray Hart, a loving companion, father, and grandfather home to rest in eternal paradise at the age of 63.
Sugarray was born on September 3, 1958, in Lyons, Georgia. Sugarray served in the Air Force Reserve and as a corrections officer for the Georgia Department of Corrections. Sugarray chose to call Tampa his home in the 1980s and was employed by Wonder Bread for over 20 years and later Amalie Arena. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, singing, dancing, barbequing for family and friends, and spending time with his family.
Sugarray was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charlie Hart; grandmother, Henrietta Hart; uncles, Charlie "C.J." Hart, Jr., Floyd Hart, Harvey Hart, and Mack Hart; a father-in-law figure, Johnny Blount, and relative, Robert F. Smith. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving companion, Gilda Price; daughter, Sharae Grubbs (Tayiah); stepson, Anwar Pilcher; mother, Lola Edwards; stepfather, Charles Lee Edwards Sr.; sister, Loretta Harris (Melton); brothers, Charles Lee Edwards Jr., and Sipio Edwards, and stepsister, Jeannette Hepburn; grandson, Jayce Grubbs; aunts, Flossie Hart, Brunell Harris, and Helen Phillips; uncle, Willie "W.H." Hart (Betty); mother-in-law figure, Evelyn Blount; special cousins, Kenneth Hunter and Lee Lovett; special nieces, Angela Harris (Adrian), and Shoma Warren-Shelly; friend, David Griner; relatives, Renae Smith, Sheila Warren, Christle Blount, and Derek Blount; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Revelation 21:4.
