A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Sydonie Veronica Walker of Tampa, who passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015, will be held on Friday, September 18th, 10:00 a.m. at Faith Outreach Church, 7607 Sheldon Rd, Dr. George Walters, Jr., pastor officiating. The interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery. Sydonie was born October 24, 1943 in St. Mary, Jamaica. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed socializing, knitting, cooking and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Erik Haughton and Claris May Davidson McIntosh; sister, Sonja McIntosh and brothers, Newton Blake and Linton Haughton. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her children, Andrea Wisdom, Audrey Walker and Martin Walker; grandchildren, Dean Wisdom, Curtis Wisdom, Kenjiah Hamilton Walker and Jayden Walker; her first great grandchild, soon to come; brother; Lancelot McIntosh; sisters, Marvine Thompson and Pauline McIntosh-Ellis; uncle, Alcise Davidson; 14 nieces, 13 nephews; special friends, Lydia Shirley, Adassa Batchelor and Doreen Wilkes; and a host of other relatives and special friends. The visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th from 4-7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 4:30-5:30 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Friday for the service.
