The oldest of three children, Tamika was born on May 31, 1976, to proud parents Darryl Jones Sr. and Maeordrie Jones. Affectionately called "Mika", she was a happy baby; always smilinga trait she carried all her life. Mika always had a beautiful smile. She attended the public schools of Hillsborough County, graduating from Tampa Bay Vocational Technical School in 1994. She worked as a medical records specialist for USF/Tampa General Hospital. She was actively enrolled in Rasmussen University, taking classes to obtain her certification in billing and coding.

Tamika accepted Christ at an early age. March 21, 2022, God sent an angel to escort Tamika to her everlasting home. Tamika was a loving, devoted daughter, sister, mother, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Annie Mae (Darden) Butler, and Acie and Betty (Howard) Jones; great-grandmother, Etta Mae Eberhardt; aunt, Cora L. (Butler) Davis; uncles, George Butler Jr., William J. Butler Sr., Calvin D. Butler, Hubert Davis, Reverend Laurise Hamilton Jr., Leroy Howard Sr., and Ronald Smith; cousins, Zachary T. Butler, Amari A. Williams, and Shenell E. Cooper.

Tamika leaves family in whose hearts loving memories have been etched including her loving and devoted parents, Darryl and Maeordrie (Butler) Jones; children, Daryl Harrison Jr., Darius Harrison, DZani Everett, and DZaria Jones; granddaughter, DaMiya (Kenzie) Harrison; sister, Samantha Jones; brother, Darryl Jones Jr.; nephews, William III, Jeremiah, and Jayden Ortega; niece, WiYanna Ortega; long time companion, William (Pee-Wee) Jones; aunts, Barbara Butler Dixon (Thomas), Genia Butler Taylor, Evelyn Butler Hamilton, LaConnia Butler Watkins (Terence), Soraya Butler Alexander (Wilmer), Annette Jones Smith, Katrina Eberhardt Cooper (George), Brenda Eberhardt Young (John), Ella Davenport, and Margaret J.
