Tavia was born July 18, 1978, in Tampa, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Simeon and Allene Rhanes; and stepfather, Selevin Hammond.

She leaves to cherish her memories, mother, Mary E. Rhanes; father, Robert Lee Stevens, Sr.; grandparents, Melvin, Sr., and Carrie Rhanes; brothers, Simeon Rhanes (Lavari Presley), Selevin Hammond, Jr., and Eric Hammond; sisters, Demetrius Hammond and Rosa Lee Hammond; aunts, Debra Carroll, Coretha Singleton and Sophia Jones; uncle, Melvin Rhanes, Jr., (Sonji); niece, Zykira Rhanes; nephews, Simeon Rhanes, Jr. and Nigee Williams; and a host of cousins; special friend, Jermaine Houston; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her.
