A celebration of life for Mr. Theodis 'Otis' Kirnes of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 will be held on Saturday, February 24th, 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Theodis Kirnes was born on July 7, 1954 to the late Clarence Kirnes and Liller Marie Clinton-Kirnes. Theodis was an excellent service man of the community. He loved playing the lottery, working out, sports, and listening to music especially 'the blues'. He was very outgoing, sociable and fond of the company of women, friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his 13 children; 16 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Clarence Kirnes, Jr. and Bruce Kirnes (Tammie); sister Clara Mitchell-Hill (Luis); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends, including Patricia Jones. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, February 23rd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at Aikens Funeral Home on Saturday for the service.
