Homegoing services for Mr. Thomas Jaudon, Jr. of Tampa who passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013, was held on Saturday, July 6th, at 2:00 p.m. at Evening Star Tabernacle Church, 3716 E. Paris St., Rev. Jerome Griffin, pastor. Interment was in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Mr. Thomas Jaudon, Jr. was born in Gerard, Georgia on April 5, 1935 to the late Thomas Jaudon, Sr., (Ola; step-mother) and Margaret Brown. Thomas was a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his son, Delice B. Jaudon; brothers; Willie N. Earnest and Hampton and sister, Nancy. He leaves to mourn his demise, wife, Willie Mae Jaudon; daughters, Signe' Solomon, Katina Edwards and Sarina Jaudon-Cooper (Vincent); grandsons, Joseph John, Charles Solomon, Michael Solomon; granddaughters, Ebony Smith and Irealle Smith; sister, Shirley Jaudon; sisters-in-law, Marilyn and husband, Fred, Nellie Sheppard, Johnnie Mae and husband, Tony Collins, Iradene and Carolyn and husband; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation was held at Aikens Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday evening. The family received friends from 5:30- to 6:30. The family and friends gathered at the church for the service on Saturday.
