Funeral Services for Mr. Timothy J. Monroe of Tampa, who passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012, will be held on Saturday, March 17th, 4:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, with Minister Cornelius Pate, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Timothy was born on January 5, 1988 in Ft. Myers, Florida. He attended the schools of Hillsborough County. He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Genora Johnson; grandmother, Genora Monroe; uncle, Alfonso Rainge; aunt, Massey Allen and brothers, Tylow Johnson and Keith Allen. He leaves to cherish his memories with his mother, Linda Thomas; 4 brothers, Ricky Allen (Lessie), Kevin Allen (Jennifer), Jason Allen (Pamela) and Antonio Monroe (Candice); sister, Wanda Baker (Herbert); 4 aunts, Emma Johnson, Julia Mae Pate (AL), Leavonne Nichols (Jimmie Lee) and Beverly Hockenberry (Donald); 2 unlces, Ben Pate (Gloria) and Charles Rainge (Betty); a loving and supporting cousin, Michelle Walker; goddaughter, Jimmya Buie; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends. The viewing will be held on Friday, March 17th, from 5-8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
