A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Tom Hickmon of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021, will be held on Saturday, November 6th, 1:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Min. Bobby Taylor, officiating. The interment will be held in Orange Hill Cemetery.

Tom Hickmon was born March 23, 1938, in Hartwell, Georgia. He enjoyed fishing, singing in church, volunteering at the nursing home and cooking for family on Sundays. He was preceded in death by his wife, Morlene Hickmon; mother, Annie Lou Hickmon; sisters, Linda Hickmon, Gennie Mae Tillis and Nettie Sue Hickmon; brothers, Albert Hickmon and Jimmie Lee Hickmon; niece, Patricia Tillis; nephews, Tommie Joe Tillis and Roy Lee Howard. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his loving children, Elaine Hickmon, Freddie Mae Hickmon-Wiggins, Gloria D. Hickmon, Bobbie Jean Hickmon-Norton, Twila L. Hickmon, Jacqueline R. Hickmon, Tameika S. Hickmon, Darrick A. Hickmon, Darrell A. Hickmon and Brian Hickmon; 23 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers, Otis Hickmon and John Henry Hickmon; sisters, Elizabeth Hickmon and Mildred Hickmon; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends of Nebraska Avenue Church of Christ.

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, November 5th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
