Homegoing services for Mr. Tommie J. Tillis "T.J." of Tampa, who passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013, will be held on Saturday, December 28th, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Pastor William Lockhart, officiating, with Rev. J.T. Smith, eulogist. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Tommie was born on July 27, 1958. He was a member of Nebraska Ave. Church of Christ, Pastor J. T. Smith. Tommie was a well rounded chef and jack of all trades including building and reconstruction of houses. He had an wonderful sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gennie Mae Tillis; grandmother, Annie Lou Hickmon; brother, Roy Lee Howard; sister, Patricia Tillis; uncles, Albert Hickmon and Jimmie Lee Hickmon and aunt, Linda Hickmon.
