A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Toni Johnson Allen of Tampa, FL who passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 will be held on Saturday June 25th, 11:00 a.m. at Brown Memorial COGIC, 3409 N. 24th St, Tampa, FL 33605, Bishop Matthew Williams pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Toni was a member of Browns Memorial Church of God in Christ Church. She was a member of the mission church ministry and loved to cook. Toni enjoyed shopping, dining out and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome Johnson and Mammie Pollock-Johnson; sister, Wanda Bowden; grandson, Le'Robert Allen; great grandson, Ja'Carree Ponder and best friend, Wanda Lemons. She leaves to cherish her memories with her husband, Lester Allen; children, Krishana Polite-Davis (Charlene), Stephen Johnson and Stephen Allen; grandchildren, Brianna Polite, Isaiah Johnson, Alyssia Johnson and Jaida Johnson; great grandchild, Dwight Baker; brothers; Jerome Johnson and Michael Johnson; sisters, Jerri Brown (Gary), Kathy Bowen, Sylvia Johnson, Reagan Helms (Bill) and Keisha Crump (Virgil); aunts, Bernice Bolden, Claretha Bolden and Hannah Williams; uncles, Melvin Johnson, Samuel Bolden and Timothy Bolden; nieces, Debra Brown, Daralyn Glenn, Latoya Glenn, Aliyah Helms, Victoria Rocha, Miasha Johnson, Taniya and Taliyah Glenn, Tyra Glenn, Kamryn Grissett, Laila Jones and Kelis Brown; nephews, Gary Brown, Elvin Max Bowen, Billy Helms, Xavier Middleton, Jerome Jake Johnson, , Jordan Johnson; cousins, Virgil, Demetrius, and Jalen Crump, Gary Brown, III, special cousin and friend, Sharon Smalley; friends, Debra Bell and Michelle McCoy and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens funeral home on Friday, June 24th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
