Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Tonya D. Starks of Thonotosassa, Florida who passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013, will be held on Saturday, February 16th, 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Tabernacle Church, 10930 U.S. Hwy 301 Thonotosassa, Florida, 33592, Rev. Wolfe, pastor with W.L. Jackson, pastor of Macedonia M.B. Church, Thonotosassa, officiating. Interment will be in Mayberry Cemetery, Thonotosassa, Florida. Tonya was born July 21, 1972 in Tampa, Florida. She loved to listening to gospel music, playing with pets, dancing, attending family events, especially the family turkey fry gatherings. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Carolyn Starks, Alecia Starks-Jackson and Betty J. Reynolds and brother, Johnnie Lee Starks. She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory: parents, Ray and Cottie Mae Starks; brothers, Ray Starks (Beverly), Gerard Starks (LaVida), Rickey Starks, Dwayne Starks and Brent Starks; sisters, Linda Burston (James), Loretta Hicks, Rena Anderson, Brenda Starks, Judy Brown (Reginald), Cydreia Starks, Tammy Starks-Timmons (Willie) and Ericka Starks; aunt, Lillie Mae Black aka "Bae Honey"; nieces, Cynthia Hicks, Renicka and Shawntala Anderson, Tyrhonda, Candace and Ingrid Starks, Ashley Brown, Arielle Thomas, Tamera Harris, Sierra Timmons, Jasmine and Alexandria Wynn, Gabrielle James, Aramis Wilds (Garnell), Vonda Stubbs (Kenny), Tarsha Wiggins (Roosevelt), Alvia, Brianna, Brittney and Rayana Starks; nephews, Kevin Priester, Craig Barnum, Michael (Cleshauna), Derrick and Antonio Hicks, Rueben Anderson (Sheena), Eric Starks, Reshard, and Reginald, Jr. Brown, Willie III and Dyllun Timmons, Gerard, Jr., Chante, Jeremy, Vincent and Jeremiah Starks and Johnnie Jackson III; cousins, Isabel Larry and family; brother-in-law, Hayward Reynolds; and a host of other great nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, February 15th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
