A homegoing celebration for Mr. Torey Leon Kennedy of Tampa. Florida who passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 will be held Saturday, April 22nd, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th St., Rev. S. Evan Burrows, pastor officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Torey Leon Kennedy was born April 6, 1977 to Isaac and Patricia Kennedy. Torey graduated from Jefferson High School in 1998 he attended Pyramid until he departed this life. He was a member of FBCCH. Torey enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, watching movies, music and clothes. His favorite color was money green. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his parents, Isaac and Patricia Kennedy; brother, Jerry Rogers, Jr. of Tampa, FL, Isaac (Mattricia) Kennedy of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Tangela Rogers (Bryain Walker), Yolanda Kennedy both of Tampa, FL, uncles, Larry (Ciara) Kennedy of Port Orange, FL and Johnny (Laura) Stevenson, Jr. of Melbourne, FL; aunts, Marsha Weston of Melbourne, FL, Rose Weston, Gail Stevenson both of Sarasota, FL, Maggie (Michael) Stokes of Tampa, FL and Annie Kennedy of Sarasota, FL; great-aunts, Maybell Campbell of Sarasota, FL and Dolly (Marvin) Alls; nephews, Jerry Rogers III, Torey Robinson, Eddie Seago III, Anthuan Williams, Jr., Robert Bozart, Jahson, JaQuacius, Evan, JaDarius, Jaylen, Kennedy, Remus Randall, Anthony Starks and DeQua Christian; nieces, Latoya Rogers, Kearia Hunt, Delisha White, Talisha Matthews, Jamecia Rogers, Ashanti, Rogers, Katoreya Williams, Emanii Yates, Janaja Rogers, Rakayla Rogers, Khalia Santiago, Gabriella Santiago, Jeraiyah Rogers and Princess Rogers; 5 great-nieces and nephews; host of cousins and other family members; god-brothers, William Massey and Wendell Delhomme; god-sisters, Felicia Jones, Candace Nealy, Tiffany McKinney, Regina Epps, Anita White, Annette Hearn, Andrea Smith, Kamilah Boykin, Vanetela Graham, Sharonda Warren, Fonda Jones and Leslie Randall; special friend Yashica Hepburn; special thanks to Harnish Transportation and Pyramid for 17 years of service and Canines of Christ. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, April 21st from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
