Staff Sergeant (Retired)Tyrone Ferrell was born in Tampa, Florida on February 2, 1958, to Nathaniel Willie Harris and the late Irene Elizabeth Harris. He was a veteran of the United States Army, retiring after service as a Staff Sergeant from 1983 to 2020. He was also a licensed practical nurse, in the service and as a civilian pediatric nurse. Tyrone enjoyed reading science fiction, playing flight simulator, crossword puzzles, fishing, going to aquariums, listening to eclectic music, and horticulture.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Elizabeth Harris; wife, Cheryl L. Ferrell, grandfathers, Clifford Harris and Grady Ferrell, Sr., and grandmother, Gussie White Ferrell Patten.
He leaves to cherish his memories children, Tia Nichelle Osterbur, Natasha Lynn Osterbur, Elizabeth Marie Ferrell and Jerome Alexander Ferrell; grandchildren, Terrance James Ferrell, Isabelle Rose Ferrell, and Maya Lynn Ferrell; father, Nathaniel Willie Harris; sisters, Daphyne Daniels (Keith), Debra Bliss (Michael,Sr.), Pamela Ferrell and Paula George (Willie), Linda Mills (Sebastian), Sabrina Bell (Paul), Felicia Prather (James) and brother, Willie Harris, Jr. (Sheila); niece, Nakeshia Bliss; nephews, Aaron Porter (Kisha), Bryson Porter, Kory George (Kelly), Caleb George, Michael Bliss, Jr. (Latoya) and Keith "KJ" Daniels II; cousins, June White (Delores),Johnny Ferrell, Jr. (Mildred), Jose Lara (Melissa), Grady Ferrell III, Adrian and Eric White, Sharon White, Vicki Carswell (Curtis), Michael White (Eurena), Cynthia Malcolm (Deral), Ricky and Kevin White; sister-in-laws, Terri Herbst (Robert) and Charlene Osterbur, a host of other relatives and friends to include, Dusty Osborne, Richard Hennessy, Jeffrey Atkins, and Cynthia Duncan.
