Obituary

A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Urelee Shack of Tampa who passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016, will be held on Friday, March 4th, 10:00 a.m. at Greater Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church, 1225 N. Nebraska Ave., Dr. B.R. Fulton, pastor officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Shack was born in Marianna, Florida on May 31, 1926. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged. After serving his country he moved to Tampa, Florida where he met and married Annie Bell Austin who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by one daughter. Urelee was a longtime member of Greater Mt. Moriah P.B. Church, where he served as an usher for many years. He enjoyed gardening, working and being a member of his neighborhood watch association. He leaves to cherish his memories: 4 sons; 6 daughters; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Friday for the service.
