Valerie was born, November 17, 1958, to Joseph Hart McNair and Gloria Jones in Birmingham, Alabama. Valerie will always be remembered for her love of singing, sewing and fashion. May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her as she will be greatly missed.

Valerie was preceded in death by daughter, Jasmine Haas; father, Joseph Hart McNair; sister, Sandra Holliman.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, children, David McNair, Calvin Carter, and Joshua McNair; grandchildren, Daysha McNair, Kalil Carter, Jahvier McNair, Kaydynce McNair, Chantelle Conrad, Jayden McNair, and N'vee Carter; mother, Gloria Jones; brother, Tony McNair; sister, Janet Robinson (Kerry); nieces, Kamera Thomas and Predestined McNair; nephews, Leroyal Thomas, Deryl Thomas and Tony McNair, Jr.; friend, Angela McNair.
