Homegoing Service for Vance T. Murray of Tampa, Florida who passed away on December 17, 2014, will be held on Saturday, December 27th, 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Antonio Hawkins, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Vance was born February 22, 1998 in Stuart, Florida. He attended the local schools of Hillsborough County and was currently enrolled at King High School, where he was a principal honor roll student. Vance enjoyed playing video games, rapping and going to the mall. He was loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed. He leaves to cherish his fond memories with his mother, Sandra Lee; father, Van Murray (Towanda); brothers and sisters, Keila, Van, Kenyetta, Jamal, Tanayia and Aniyah Murray, Lakia Jones, Shavaneka Pitts, Rosalyn Jenkins and Jamikal Harris; grandmother, Kate English; godbrother, Vardarius Graham; godsisters, Miriam Hayes, Lily Hayes and Brittany Holder; aunt, Jessia Lee and a host of other aunts; uncles, Michael Lee, David McNair and Floyd Wesley, Jr.; nephews, Zacreon White, Wilbert Williams, Corey Harvey, Jr. and Jordan Wright; best friend, Hakeem Joseph; a host of cousins and other family members and friends. The visitation will be held Friday, December 26th at Aikens Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel for the service on Saturday.
