Homegoing service for Velda Jean Ware Roberts of Tampa, FL, who passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012, will be held Saturday, June 16th, at 12:00 p.m. at Greater New Friendship M.B. Church, 3325 E. Emma Street on the corner of 34th and Emma, Pastor Madison Murray with, Pastor Aubrey Shines, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Velda was born on April 8, 1962 in West Palm Beach, Florida to the parents of Albert Curtis Ware, Jr. and Judith Roberts. She moved to Tampa, FL in 1980 and attended Irwin Technical Institute and became employed as a Mental Health Administrator. Her hobbies consisted of working and going to church. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Henry Lee Roberts; grandmother, Lola Mae Lassiter; grandfather, Albert Ware, Sr. and grandmother, Jessie Ware.
