Vera was born on June 7, 1956, in Tifton, GA., to Charlie and Idella Stephens. She loved cooking and being around her loving family and friends. She leaves cherished memories with her husband, Samuel Boyd; children, Adrianna (Willie) Duggins and Lee Wells; grandchild, DAdrion Mercer; brothers; Floyd (Mamie) Stephens and Robert Stephens; sisters, Ruby Rogers, Carol Stephens, and Lila Barnes.
