A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Verna Gean Viverette Evans of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 will be held on Saturday, April 15th, 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tampa, FL, Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Verna was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Viverette and Ruthie Tims; brothers and sisters, T.H., Tommy, Ollie Mae, Jennie Ruth, and John Henry Viverette, Annie Mae Picken and Ida George; nieces and nephews, Joe, Dexter, Ella, James, Ida George and Teijuana Viverette, Cleve Jones and Judy Willis; sisters-in-law, Cassie and Ida Mae Viverette She leaves to cherish her memories with her children, Nathan Evans (Sheryll), Jennifer Evans (Robert), Ricky Evans, Otha Evans (Marvin) and David Evans (Tanza); 21 grandchildren, Victoria, Angel and Denzel Breedlove, DaViathan (Kristen), Jazzmine (Reshod), Chelseea (Joe), Ricky, Jr., Madis and Ricky Lee, Jr. Evans, LaTroya (Luis), Cornelius, Jr., and Ronald Byrd, Jeffrey L. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 14th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
