Homegoing Services for Mrs. Veronica Elaine Williams of Tampa who passed away, Monday, April 25, 2011, will be held on Saturday, May 7th, 2:00 p.m. at House of Restoration Church of God, Inc., 1603 E. Hillsborough Ave., Elder Arthur Green, Jr., pastor officiating. Interment will be in Rest Have Memorial Park Cemetery. Veronica was born March 25, 1952 in Tampa, Florida to the late Sarah Grady and James Grady. She was a member of House of Restoration Church of God; Inc. Veronica was a graduate of Middleton Senior High, class of 1970. She enjoyed planting and gardening and decorating her home. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah, grandparents, John and Versey Baker, aunt, Johnnie Mae Blocker and husband, Leon Williams. She leaves to cherish her memories: children, Anthony Williams (Theresa), Alvin Williams, and Leon Williams, Jr. (Stacy); grandchildren, Stephen, Kayla, Jacque, Joel, Anthony, Jr., Alvin, Jr., Antiana, Kadrian, Alicia, Keven, Antonio, Ja'Virgil and Nevaeh; her father, James Grady; brothers, James Lavaren Grady; uncles, Albert C. Blocker, Cleveland Moss, Sr. (Kate) of Hartford, CT; nephews, James Grady, III, Derek Grady, and Aaron Grady; cousins, Versey James (William), Cleveland Moss, Jr., Clevetta McHenry (Mardy), Marvin Moss, Rosetta Given (Raymond) of Leesburg, Thelma Cole (Robert) of Leesburg, Charlene Brown of St. Petersburg, Eric, Monica and Willie Harris, Jr., Cayliff, Cieria, Cory, Chonda, Shawn, Regina, Anthony James, Vernindale, Cindy and Tracie; brother-in-law, Michael Williams; sisters-in-law, Brenda and Elaine Pope; friends, Francis, Willie Mae, Luvator, Reginald Washington, Deborah Washington, B.J. and Rick; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends. The viewing will be held at House of Restoration Church of God, Inc on Friday, May 6th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 6 to 7 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday at 1:45 p.m. for the service.
