Mrs. Vickie Yvette Myrick, affectionally known as "Ma Vickie" was born on August 21, 1963, to Willie Lee Hopps and Thelma Cooper Hopps. Known for her carefree spirit, Vickie found happiness in simple pleasures, spending time with family, cooking favorite meals, and playing cards any day and anytime. Vickie will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the warmth, kindness, and light shared with everyone around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rosa Ann Cooper; brother, Willie V. Hopps, Sr.; and niece, Season Hopps.

She leaves cherished memories to her loving husband, Leonard Myrick; children, Lionel Hopps (Dionne), Antowanda Buie, William Tolbert (Felicia), Rashard Tolbert (Yatasmia), Miriam Palmer (Shawn), Andrea Hopps (Xavier), Darrica Ridley, Jonathan Allen, Antonio Myrick, and Christian Myrick; grandchildren, Sevyn, Jasmine, Timniqua, Henry, Jr., Rory, Rasharda, Jamison Bell, Jr., Ty'jai Jones, Williah, Saige, and Mila; great-grandchildren, Annie, Jamison Bell, III, and Camryn; brothers, Walter Hopps, Tony Hopps (Carol), and Eugene Hopps; sisters, Rosalyn Jenkins (Tommy) and Alma Miller; nieces, Towanda, Shavonda, Shanika, Tiffany, Mary, Thao, Regina, Sierra, Dominique. Shan, Vintoria, Ebony, Mariah, Valencia, Vinquandria "Pretty", Thelma, and Kaneshia; nephews, Otis, Fred, Paul, Mark, Tan, AJ, Dimontario, Vince, Willie, Tremayne, Vincent, Jr., Charlie "CJ", Kenny, Jessie, Antonio "Poppy", Joseph, and Dejuan; sisters-in-law, Vicki Hopps and Karen Smith (Chris); along with a host of grieving cousins, family, and friends.
