Homegoing services for Mrs. Vina Vienne Ebanks-Scott of 3722 N 56th Street, who passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 will be held Friday, December 11th at 2:00 pm at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 822 W. Linebough, with Rev. Dan Francisco, officiating. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Scott was born on December 10, 1914 in Grand Cayman Islands, to Alfred and Angeline Ebanks. Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband, Austin A. Scott, Sr. and her daughter, Barbara Scott and parents, Alfred and Angeline Ebanks. She is survived by her children, Arleen Scott-Bogan, Austin Scott, Jr., and Arthur Scott, Sr.; grandchildren, Osmond Kenneth Dilbert, Sr., Wayne Jeffrey Dilbert, Arthur Scott, Jr., and Angela Scott-Pert; granddaughter-in-law, Cathy Norman-Dilbert; great grandchildren, Kristian Dilbert, Osmond Kenneth Dilbert, Jr., and Nicholas Keith Dilbert; great-great grandchild, Jasmine Gaynor; brother, Robert Ebanks; sisters, Audrey Julio, Myrtle Aikman, Lily Ebanks, Madeline Brown, Edna General, Vivia Morgan, Ina Ebanks and Gwendolyn Hayes; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Viola Scott-Brown, Mrs. Dean Scott-Brown, and Mrs. Theda Bodden; brother-in-law, Mr. Samuel Scott and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The viewing was held at Aikens Funeral Home on Thursday, December 10th from 4-7 pm. The family received friends from 5-7 pm. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Friday for the service.
