Homegoing services for Mr. Vincent Lamar Bryant of Tampa, who passed away Friday, June 19, 2015 will be held Saturday, June 27th, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Pastor James Scruggs, officiating of Deliverance Christian Connection Ministry, Riverview, FL. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Vincent Lamar Bryant was born on May 8, 1964 to Gertrude Bryant and the late Johnnie Lee Bryant in Orlando, Florida. He attended Apopka High School where he played basketball and graduated. He was employed with the Marriott Hotel where he worked for 25 years. He enjoyed football, basketball and watching sports. His favorite channels were ESPN and Sports center. Vincent loved his children, barbeque and watching old movies. In his spare time, Vincent loved to travel to his hometown of Apopka, FL to spend time with his family and support the "Apopka Blue Darter" football team. Vincent was preceded in death by his father; Johnnie Lee Bryant; brothers, Jerome and Johnnie Lee Bryant Jr.; aunt, Tessie Campbell; and uncle, Robert Bryant. He leaves to cherish his memories with his children, Joshua (fiancAC. Superior Owens), Robert and Chantaria Bryant, Charlottia, Keona and Keon Williams, Denequa Whatley (Leroy) and Kevin M. Lewis Jr. (Jennifer); ex-wife and friend, Varonnica Bozeman; grandchildren, Jyanti, Samari, Amari and Harmonii Bryant, Jahlia and Juelz Williams, Janiesha Villafana, Kelverieyon and Tadaejerieyon Lewis and Jaylyn McCallister; mother, Gertrude Bryant of Apopka, FL.; brothers, Dexter Bryant (Bridgett) of Tampa, FL and Jermaine Bryant of Apopka, FL; sisters, Geraldine (Anthony) and Kathy Bryant and Linda Bailey all of Apopka, FL; ; mother-in-law, Gladys Wilson; brothers-in-law, Calvin, Mark, Clemons and Bruce Wilson; sisters-in-law, Christine Bryant, Vanessa Wynn (Frank), Monica Wilson, Francine Marcus (Andrea) and Denise Buggs (Tony); aunts, Hermie L. Pollard and Margaret Campbell of Apopka, FL; uncles, Roy Campbell (Margaret) of Apopka, FL, Mose William (Rosa), Varion Bryant, James Belin (Mittie Mae) of Detroit, MI and Rowell Bryant (Dorothy) of Syracuse, NY; nieces, Deunca Collins (Tee), Eneaqua Bailey, Krissie, Cheryl, Laynita, Charity and Sheronda Bryant; special nieces', Vert Lee Pollard, Connie Robinson and Cierra Bryant; nephews, Othellus Swift (Talanda), Dexter Jr., Cedric, and Jeremiah Bryant, Jermie Kemp (Billa), and Lenorris Mincy; friends, Hosea Shuman, Reggie Haynes, Ralph Shuler; and a host of other relatives and friends. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, June 26th, from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The friends and family are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
