Homegoing services for Mrs. Vivian Stubbins Roberts of Tampa who passed away on Monday, October 10, 2011 will be held on Saturday, October 15th, 2:00 p.m., St. Luke AME Church, 2709 N. 25th Street, Rev. Ronald Williams, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Johnnie Vivian Stubbins was born April 2, 1944 in Winter Haven, Florida. Mrs. Roberts was a devoted member of St. Luke AME Church, devoted grandmother, wife, sister and friend. Vivian loved her family and enjoyed cooking, sewing and decorating. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Clark; father, John Henry Stubbins; brothers, Milton and Michael Stubbins; nephew, Milton Stubbins, Jr., and aunt, Lillian Williams. She leaves to cherish her memories; spouse, Theodore Roberts; children, Rhonda Walter (Ricky), Robert Stubbins (Kim), Travetta Roberts and Karissa Roberts; grandchildren, Mark Hamilton, Robert Avery, Cher'rell Stubbins, Robbie Stubbins, Amariell Brooks, Teandra Roberts, Taniqua Roberts, Romemyo Harmon, Chan'tel Stubbins, Rah'Keem Stubbins, Rah'Kim Stubbins and Rah'Gina Stubbins; great grandchildren, Jamil Hamilton, Robert Avery, Jr., Sean Avery, Roellis Avery and Abrielle Avery; sisters, Annette Wright (Alphonso) of Cocoa Beach, FL, Rhonda Stubbins White of Los Angeles, CA, and Annette Stubbins of New York, NY; sister-in-law, Eyvette Stubbins; nieces, Tangela Stubbins, Anastasia Stubbins, Sheila Wright and Pamela Wright; nephews, Derrick Stubbins, Herbert Stubbins and Rico Stubbins; cousins, Gwendolyn Wheeler and Joseph Wheeler; devoted friends, Jackie, Joanne, Liz, Girlene, Cora and Pam; and a host of aunts, uncles, other cousins, relatives and friends. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the Church on Saturday for the service.
