The memorial service for Ms. Wanda Melissa Land of Tampa who passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 will be held Saturday, April 5th at 2:00 p.m., Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd. Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. Ms. Wanda Melissa Land was born January 19, 1957 to the late Robert and Loretta Land in Indianapolis. Wanda was affiliated with University Church of Christ. She enjoyed black and white movies, scary and comedy movies. Wanda loved cooking, reading and making others laugh. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Willie Knighten, Colleen Knighten, Robert Land, Sr. and Bessie Freeman; She leaves to cherish her memories with children, Lateria Rivers, Tamira Land and Reginald Land; grandchildren, Kameron, Erica, Quentin, Justin, Brianna, Isaiah and baby Melissa; brothers, Robert III Land (Bernadette), Maurice Land, Myron Land (Carol), Donald Land (Angela), Karl Land and Allen Land; sister, Alvena Land; aunts, Florence Murry, Mildred Murry and Helena Lathan; uncles, William Knighten, Kenneth, Herbert Freeman, Raymond Knighten, Ronald and Gregory Freeman; 7 nieces, 4 nephews, 49 cousins; special friends, Rosie Rivers, Krestal Wright, Bryant Sullivan and Donna Chaison of Illinois and Eunice Cunningham of Florida.
