Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Wardell Robinson (Kitty) of Tampa, who passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Tampa General Hospital, will be held on Wednesday, June 11th, 12:00 at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Wardell Robinson (Kitty) was born in Tampa, Florida to the late Dan and Eliza (Pet) Bozeman Robinson. He was 85 years old and had lived in Tampa and the Belmont Heights area all his life. He had been an employee of Ishman Feed Company for many years. He had been a Resident of Ybor Rehab and Care Center. Mr. Robinson was a Veteran of World War II. He is survived by his 2 nephews, Auturo Villada, Jr. and Ellis Robinson, both of Tampa; 2 nieces, Miriam Allgood and Trenichie Engram of Tampa; cousins, a devoted cousin, Frances Pascoe, Lillian Tolbert and husband, Rudolph Robert Williams (Ruby) Murvin Pringley, all of Tampa; a host of grand nieces, nephews, cousins, the Tolbert, Dole, Pascoe, Barnes, Ricks, Villada, Pringley, Robinson, Ellis and Murphy families; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 10th, from 4-7 p.m. The family and friends are to meet at the chapel on Wednesday for the service.
