A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Warneisha Henry of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, December 26, 2020 will be held Friday, January 8th, 1:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Pastor Albert Fipps, officiating. The interment will be held in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Warneisha Henrywas born on January 24, 1976 in Tampa, FL to the late Warren and Pecolia Esters.In 1994, she joined the United StatesPeace Corp. Warneisha served 2 years in the Peace Corp. In 1989, she moved to Douglas, Georgia, where she met her husband Michael Henry. Sheattendedschool atShady Acres Nursing Home. Warneshia remained married to Michael for 21 years. Her Medical andtechnicalknowledgeearned her Licensed CNA atShady Acres Nursing Home.Warneisha continued hereducation at Hillsborough Community College and earned her Medical Assistance Certification. Neisha had a love for animals, and especially enjoyed caring for her dogSpot. However, her true passion was caring forchildren. On her off time, she enjoyedsinging and reading. She was dedicated to her family and friends and was always there in times of need. Neisha worked at theAppling Health CareCenterin DouglasGeorgia as a Lead Certified Nursing Assistant for over 2 years and was highly devoted to the service of caring for her patients. At a time in her career when we owe so much to our healthcare workers; an award giving her special praises for her nursing leadership and dedicationwas given to Warneisha. In addition,a plaque will be placed on the wall atShady Acres Nursing Homeas aspecial dedication by her team for her and the family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Warren Esters; grandmother, Ruby Johnson; uncle, Eddo Henderson and aunt, Larine Pullen.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her mother, Pecolia Henderson; brother, Jotham Henderson; aunts, Ruby Byrd, Maxine Larry (Emmett) and Nancy Simms (Curtis); nieces, Kayla, Jazmine and Victoria Henderson; nephew, Jotham II,Henderson;cousins, James and Joevida Byrd, Johnathan Russell, Kyler and Nicholas Larry, Keith and Fabian Bean, Kendrick, Jason and Kandice Pullen; godmother, Mary Brinson; companion, Kwaski Martin; a host of other relatives and friends that will truly miss her. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home one hour prior to the service. The service will be lived streamed at www.aikensfuneralhome.com. We are following the CDC guidelines.
