Wendell was born on October 22, 1982, in Tampa to Wilburn and Yvonne Royal, where he attended Hillsborough County schools. He graduated from Wharton High School.

He was preceded in death by parents, Wilburn Royal and Yvonne Royal; twin sister; Lynndale Royal, and grandmother, Lee Cobb.

He leaves loving memories with sisters, Nicole Cobb, Michelle Cobb, Rachel Royal, Felicia Royal, Sonya Royal, Alice Royal, and Evelyn Royal; brothers, William Royal, Patrick Royal, Curt Royal, and Christopher Royal; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
