Elaine H. Scott was one of five children born to Lula Bishop on August 30, 1945 in Tampa, Florida. Elaine was a devoted mother of 3 children and of 4 grandchildren. For many years the West Tampa area is where she made her home. Over the years she was employed at the Del Monte Company, Singleton Company and then did domestic work. Elaine was a woman that knew how to be very resourceful in raising her family. She lived with her oldest child, LaVerne, from 1997 until the time of her passing. She was a woman of character. Some things other than her family that she loved were watching sports on television. She loved football, especially FSU and the New England Patriots. She also liked tennis and watching NASCAR. One of the highlights in her life was to Steamboat, Colorado to see the mountains. She leaves to cherish her memories are: mother, Lula Bishop; sisters, Carolyn Grant (Willie Grant) and Sylvia Hill; brother, John Allen(Priscilla): children, LaVerne Garner, John K. Scott and Tyrone Scott, Sr. (Portia Scott);grandchildren, Reggie Garner, Timothy Garner, Tyrone Scott, Jr., Anaya Scott and a host of other family members and friends.
