William James Carroll, affectionately known to many as "Will", a true original, passed away on April 16, 2025. Born on September 30, 1959, William lived a life defined by warmth, laughter, and an easygoing spirit that drew people to him. William was down-to-earth, friendly, and a natural jokester. He had a way of making people feel comfortable, often lighting up a room with his humor and genuine personality. He never met a stranger and left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Above all, he cherished his family and took pride in the legacy he built through love, presence and connection.

He leaves to cherish his memory to his beloved daughter, Erica Carroll-Duvernay; treasured grandchildren, Khourey Richardson and Naya Richardson; great-grandchildren, Khourey Richardson, Jr. and Melody Joy Gonzales; sister, Patricia Cooper; his very special niece and nephew, Dominique Cooper and Jeremy Cooper; beloved aunt, Aunt Laurice; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.

William’s laughter, kindness and unmistakable spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Though he has transitioned from this life, his presence remains through the memories shared, the joy he brought, and the love he gave so freely. We take comfort in knowing he is at peace and resting in eternal light.
