Mr. William was born on March 5, 1941, in Donalsonville, William's journey through life was marked by his intelligence, friendliness, and loving nature that touched everyone he met. During his formative years in Seminole County, William was known as an outstanding basketball player, a testament to his athletic abilities and sportsmanship. Faith played a pivotal role in William's life. He accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Macedonia M.B. Church under the guidance of Rev. Isaac Conley. In his later years, he continued his spiritual journey at New Mt. Zion M.B. Church, led by Rev. Walter Williams. His deep faith and the community he found within the church were sources of great comfort and strength. William's life was one of purpose, joy, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved. His intelligence shone through in his thoughtful conversations, his friendliness drew people close, and his loving nature made each encounter with him a cherished memory. William Freeman was a man who lived his values and left the world a better place for his presence. His passion for the game was only matched by his dedication to his education and personal growth. William's work history was as diverse as it was long-standing. His commitment to excellence was evident in his service to several companies, including Florida Steel, Gator Industry, and Contech. His professionalism and diligence earned him the respect of his colleagues and peers throughout his career until his well-deserved retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Rosa Lee Freeman; daughter, Alice King; brothers, Wallace Freeman, and Willie Fred Freeman; sisters, Hattie Johnson, and Gertrude Shepard.

He leaves cherish his devoted wife of 61 years, Mary L.Freeman; son, Charles Archie, Jr. (LaToya), and their precious grandchildren, Chris King, Michelle Thompkins, Michael Crockett, Charles Archie, Jr., Charniqua Archie, Chassity Archie, Demarco Archie, Cameron Archie, and Alec Archie; brother, Raymond Freeman (Linda)' sisters, Marian Hunter (Cal), and Harriett Fennell (Larry); sisters-in-law, Yvonne Freeman and Johnnie Mae Calloway; brothers-in-law, Joe Turner (Patricia) and Andrew Turner, held a special place in his heart. His extended family of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors formed a tapestry of cherished relationships that he nurtured throughout his life.
