William Oscar Johnson, Sr., affectionately known as "OJ", was born on May 11, 1947, In Tampa, FL., to parents, K.D. Johnson and Willie Anna Evans. "OJ" graduated from Middleton High School, class of 1964. He was handy, intelligent, and selfless, which led him to a successful career as a senior HVAC technician.

He was preceded in death by parents; K.D. Johnson, Sr. and Willie Anna Evans; sisters, Annie M. Tate, Della Coleman, Laura Hicks, and brother, K.D. Johnson, Jr.; as well as several aunts and uncles.

He leaves to cherish his memory: children, Shelon Johnson, William Antonio Johnson, Nagi Dorsey, William Oscar Johnson, Jr. (Shon), and Bryant Johnson (Stephanie); grandchildren, Ryan Johnson, George Smith II, Donte Black, Corey Wilson, Quaneisha Johnson, Antonae Johnson, William Antonio Johnson, Jr, Michael Burgess, James Johnson, Emani Johnson, Isaiah Johnson, Natalie Johnson, Nikiria Dorsey, Jiovonnah Dorsey, Jakeisia Dorsey, Jakayla Dorsey, Myya Johnson, William Oscar Johnson III, Lionel Johnson, Brenya Johnson, and Miriam Thomas; 6 nephews; 6 nieces; and a host of cousins. A special thank you to his grandson, Ryan, for his unwavering and selfless care of his grandad. Your love, dedication, and tireless support brought comfort and peace throughout his illness and during his final days.
