Homegoing services for Mr. William Wallace Judge, Sr. who passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2011, will be held Saturday, February 5th, 2:00 p.m., at New Mt. Zion M.B. Church, 2511 E. Columbus Drive, Rev. Walter J. Williams, Pastor, with Pastor R. Lockett, Jr. Bethany Christian Discipleship Church, officiating. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Mr. William Judge was born September 25, 1948 in Tampa, Florida to the parents of Ruby Bostick Judge and Wallace Raymond Judge. William accepted Christ and joined Bethany Christian Discipleship Church before he left this world. He was an avid sports fan and loved to cook for his family. He served his country honorably during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Bostick Judge and Wallace Raymond Judge; grandmother, Rosetta Jackson Judge; grandfather, James Judge; aunt, Lillian Bolen and sister, Leatha Pierson. He is survived by a loving wife of 40 years, Gloria Carter-Judge; 2 sons, William W. Judge, Jr. (Lekiva) and Jason Byron Judge (Christina); a loving and devoted granddaughter, Ashante Khyree Judge; grandson, Rashaud D. Lee; step-mother, Pat Judge;1 brother, Wallace Raymond Judge; 1 sister, Marjorie Thompson; 1 aunt, Rosaline Judge; uncles, Russell Judge (Phyliss) and Herbert Bolen; loving and devoted nieces, Shanda Cook (Rodney), Dana Judge (Kelvin) Laquonda Telfare (Maurice), Rose Salter (Tony), Joanne Williams, Dedra, Francine, Natasha and Catrice; grandnieces, Kelani Phelps, Jocelyn Telfare and Hallie Telfare; nephews, Darrick Harrell and Matthew William Harrell and Bryan Williams; grandnephews, Rodney Carter, Timothy Carter, Malique Carter and Darrick Harell, Jr.; cousins, Ardrea Kennedy (Ted), Ophelia Bolen-Daniels and Andrew Eady; a devoted and loving sister-in-law, Mary Harrell (Gerald); brother-in-law and dear friend, David R. Williams; brothers-in-law, Clarence Johnson (Frances) and Barry Joseph Johnson (Sarah); and a host of bereaved family and friends. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. on Friday. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday at 1:45 p.m. for the service.
