A Graveside Celebration of Life for Mr. William P. Woods of Tampa, Florida;who passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in theRest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave.;Rev. Timothy Lancaster, officiating.

Mr. Woods was born August 26, 1943 to the late Pierce and Pearl Douglas Woods. He attended St. Peter Claver Catholic School and graduated from Blake High School. He enjoyed music and dancing. He was preceded in death by his parents;brothers, Eddie Paul and Samuel Woods; sisters, Ellen Williams, Thelma Smith and Beatrice Garrett; nephew, Robert Garcia and niece, April Woods.

He leaves to cherish his precious;his nieces and nephews; hisspecial friends, Charles Smith III (Yvette), Ricardo Smith (Monique), Carmen Garrett, Karen Smith, Sharon Smith, Eddie Williams, Pierce Smith, Mark Williams, Linda Darby (Andre), Timothy Williams, Sharene Woods, Maria Garrett, Dorothy Smith, Darrick Smith, Samuel Woods II, Samantha Woods, Sheron Woods, Tony Woods, Virginia Garcia, Leila Washington and Joe Lundy.

The family requests friends meet at the graveside on day of service. CDC guidelines should be practiced.
