Mr. Willie James Daniels, affectionately known as "Billy," was born on August 19, 1955, in Tampa, Florida. He was a lifelong resident of Tampa and a proud graduate of Plant High School. At an early age, Willie accepted Christ at Friendly Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Rev. Webb. He later united with Peace Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, where he faithfully served as a member of the Usher Board and sang in the men's choir, demonstrating his love for God and dedication to his church family. Willie devoted many years of service throughout Tampa, FL. He took great pride in caring for others and was deeply loved by the patients he served. His compassion, patience, and genuine concern made a lasting difference in many lives.
Known for his vibrant personality, Willie loved to celebrate life and bring people together. He was especially famous for hosting large gatherings, including his much-loved Christmas parties, which family and friends fondly remember.
He was preceded in death by FL; mother, Juanita Jenkins and step-father, Edmond Neves; grandparents, Willie and Bessie Spann; brothers, Larry Coleman, and Terry Daniels; aunt, Daisy Cunningham; niece, Lacy Coleman; nephews, James Collins and Joquin Daniels
He leaves cherished memories to his godson, Donald Smith (Chanel Laroda) of Tampa, FL; brothers, Jerry Daniels (Charlene) of Heflin, AL, and John Daniels (Michelle), of Pittsburgh, PA; sisters, Barbara Knight (Johnny), of Tampa, FL, Karron Neves, of Tampa, FL, and Regina Boateng Bonnah (Emmanuel), of Clearwater, FL; sister-in-law, Velma DeLoach of Clearwater, FL; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. A heartfelt acknowledgement to Antonio Eaton and the Patterson family. Willie will always be remembered as a loving, kind, funny, friendly, intelligent, adventurous, and generous man. A quote that will forever remind us of Willie was, "I love you and there's nothing you can do about it." He would also often say, "Who loves you baby", words that perfectly reflected his unconditional love for everyone he met.
