A Homegoing Celebration for Deacon Willie Benjamin Doyle of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019, will be held on Friday, October 4th, 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Rev. S. Evan Burrows, Senior Pastor, officiating. The interment will be held in Orange Hill Cemetery. Deacon Willie Benjamin Doyle was born November 19, 1938 in River Junction, Florida. He was the youngest of twelve siblings born to the union of Emory and Agnes Doyle. He was educated in Gadsden County. Deacon Willie Doyle retired from Cargill Company after 30 years. He was also a former staff member for many of years Aikens Funeral Home. He was an avid walker, enjoyed restoring his 67 Camaro, racing cars, riding motorcycles and talking on his CB radio with the handles of '248' and 'Slip Away'. He was a member of the Golden Hawks Motorcycle Club, where he held the title of Road Captain. He enjoyed singing in the Gospel Group, The Mighty Traveling Stars. Deacon Doyle was ordained in 2005 at First Baptist Church of College Hill. He served in several organizations such as Male Chorus, Senior Usher Board, Jolly Seniors and Chairman of the Church Security prior to his illness. Deacon Doyle was a family man. He was known by his doctors as the 'Miracle Patient', and to us our 'Quiet Storm'. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, the love of his life for 61 years, affectionately known as his Queen, Inez Doyle; 2 very devoted and caring daughters, Stacy Borders (Van) and Sharron Doyle (fianc Carlton); loving grandson, Van Rashad (fianc' Rochelle); brother, Emmanuel Doyle (Pearlie); just like daughters, Nadine Johnson (cousin), Antina Mobley and Carol Griffin both of Lakeland, Florida; 2 godsons, Eddie Hill (Mary) and Vernon Hicks, for New Jersey; special cousins, Edna Berryhill (Eddie), Valretha Williams and Rev. Leatricia Williams of Decatur,; sisters-in-law, Annie Bell Doyle of Alabama, Betty Jackson and Pat Hicks; brothers-in-law, James and Cleophus Jackson; loving nieces and nephews, Andrea Telfair, Annette Williams (Tony), Patricia Thompson, LaKisha Banks, Shantah Thomas (Bobby), Natasha Wallace Georgia, Don Doyle, Joyce Ann Hines, LaTonya Doyle, James Bush, Colby Hearns (Teresa), Tyrone Williams and Betty Williams, Shonda Perry, Tyrone Bealts, Jacob Jackson, Jr. Ft. Lauderdale, Katrina Hicks Atlanta, Kimberly Edwards Calif., Randolph Hicks Atlanta, Charlie McWhite (Evelyn), Carchie Kendrix (Alphonso), Mazalia McWhite, Alicia Martin, Wanda Williams, Tammy Sapp, Troy Sapp (Victoria), Barry, Jasmine Williams and Willie Sessions Jacksonville; Margaret Bush (James), Curtis, John L. Madry, Doretha Koonce, Roosevelt Hannah, Carlton McWhite (Susie) Chattahoochee; extended families, Griffin's of Lakeland, Shivers, Jacobs, Miller, Kelly, Everette and Mosley families; loving neighbors, Jones, Cox and Brookins families; host of more nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends from Tampa, Tallahassee, Alabama, Kansas, New York, Pennsylvania, Florida and surrounding areas. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Thursday, October 3rd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Friday for the service.
