The homegoing celebration for Mr. Willie Vincent Hopps, Sr. of Tampa who passed away, Sunday, November 27, 2016 will be held Saturday, December 3rd , 2:00p.m. at Cathedral of Faith Church Inc, 6304 N 30th St., Apostle James H. Howell, Rev. Richard Woodberry of New Progress M.B. Church, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Willie enjoyed playing music, watching sports, and loving his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Cooper; father, Willie Lee Hopps; sister, Rosa Cooper and daughter, Kathryn Hopps. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his wife, Victoria Hopps; children, Dominique Hopps, Shantae Hopps (Esperanza), Valencia Hopps, Ebony Hopps, Dimontario Hopps, Sr., Willie V. Hopps Jr., Willie A Hopps, Mariah Henderson, Vintoria Hopps, Tremayne Hopps, Willie V. Hopps Jr. and Vinquandria Hopps; grandchildren, Aaron Nelson, Marnae Tucker, Dontayla Wilson, Javaris White, Antoinette Wilson, Lailoni Hopps, Dimontario Hopps Jr., Dontavia Wilson, Lashanti Hopps, Shannon James, Skyla Hopps, Heaven Hopps, Nevaeh Hopps, Ava Randall, Deandra Hayes and Matthew Randall; brothers, Walter Hopps, Tony Hopps and Eugene Hopps; sisters, Rosalyn Jenkins (Tommie), Alma Miller (Hayward) and Vickie Harris (Rick); mother-in-law, Rosia Lee; grandmother-in-law, Sarah Scott; uncle, Joseph Copper; cousin, Zarron McNeal; friends, Lamonday Britt, Willie Kirkland, Bobby Richardson, Geremi Pierce, Devon Hardrick, Freda Floyd, Helena Wallace and Stormy Sahadi a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws; and special friends. The visitation will be held at Aiken Funeral Home on Friday, December 2nd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
