A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Willie Mae Idela Williams of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019 will be held on Saturday, June 22nd, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Bro. Daryl Flintroy, officiating. The interment will follow. Mrs. Willie Mae Williams was born on February 23, 1948 in Tampa, Florida to the late Robert Nance, Sr. and Carrie Bell Nance. She was a member of Highland Avenue Church of Christ. Willie Mae was employed with Hillsborough County Tax Collector's Office in Brandon for 34 years. She enjoyed reading and watching old western shows. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Nance Sr.; mother, Carrie Bell Nance and brothers, Robert Nance Jr. and Alfonso Nance. She leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories with her, husband, Ocie Williams Jr.; children, LaRhonda McCoy (Kenneth McCoy), Reginald Williams, Kimberly Troia (Charles Troia) and Tovia Gibbs (Addil Gibbs); step-daughter, Lanise Harris; grandchildren, Rico Moore (Tasha Stevens), DeMario Moore, LaShambre Moore, TyRon Williams, Darian Williams, Jaylen Williams, Ahmoi Gibbs, Ahmir Gibbs, Aria Troia, Marcus Harris and Dequan Harris; great grandchildren, Jayden Moore, Jayda Moore, Jason Moore, Jamal Johnson, Jaylen Cooper and Natalia Jones; brother, Leon Nance (Annette Nance); sister- Wilhemenia Nance-Garrison (Roosevelt Garrison); special friends, Hillsborough County Tax Collector's/Brandon Friends, Elizabeth Rodrigez & Preston Sanchious, Gayland & Shantell Nance and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, June 21st from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friend are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
