Obituary

Homegoing services for Mrs. Willie Mae Daniels of 3021 N. 29th Street who passed away August 24, 2009, will be held on Saturday, August 29th, 1:00 p.m., Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Donald Yeoman, officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Willie Mae Daniels was a native of Tampa and attended the schools of Hillsborough County. She was employed by Tampa General Hospital for over twenty years and worked as a short order cook at the Floridian Hotel, Maas Brothers and the Old Fort Drive for many years. Her dedication to work and her love of family and friends will serve as her legacy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Al Daniels, sisters, Blanche O. Mathis and Gloria Jean Wright, brothers, Carl A. Wright and Horace E. Wright and parents, Boyuse and Lucille Wright. She leaves to mourn her homegoing; 1 granddaughter, Sonida Jones and husband, Vincent; great grandchildren, John, Alante, Briona, Rodeshia, Alexus, Armani, Savion and Sirius; sister, Sonia I. Wright; 4 brothers, Don E. Wright (Juanita), Fred C. Wright, James Wright and Ulyssee Harrell; nieces, Sonia, Cynthia, Tonya, Renee, Honey and Jessica; nephews, Jeffery, Don, Keith and Kenny; cousins, Flora Mae, Lavenia Florence, Lerome Harris, Irvin Harris, Nancy Williams, Willie Harris and Walter DeCoursey; plus numerous other cousins, grand nephews, grandnieces, brothers and sisters-in-law, including beloved friends, Norma Gilbert, Shirley Norman, Yvonne Wright and Jean Cotton. The remains will repose at Aikens Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
