Homegoing celebration for Mr. Willie Albert Moore, Jr. who passed away December 6, 2014 will be held Saturday, December 13th at 4:00 p.m., First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street. Dr. S. Evan Burrows, pastor with Rev. Christopher Jarnegan, officiating. The interment will be in Florida National Cemetery. Willie was born July 20, 1945 in Arlington, Georgia to the late Albert Moore, Sr. and Ida Mae Lloyd. Willie enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Melvin Moore; aunts, Marie Hines and Lillie Stark and uncles, Woodrow Williams and Roosevelt Williams. He leaves to cherish his memories with a devoted ex-wife, Barbara Moore, children, Lawanza Moore, Christopher Welcome, Valerie Brown, Cocetta Baxter, Willie Albert Moore III, Clint Moore, Pricetta Moore and Quentin Moore; grandchildren, Christopher Welcome, Jr., Neil Welcome, Jazmyne Moore, Tervarese Blackman, Jr., Chase Moore, Journei Lindsey, Ava Marie Moore, Gregory Brown, Jr., Teneshia Brown, Eric Brown, Tavaris Shine, Lynn Moore, Jr., Ernest Reid and Eron Reid;brothers, James Moore (Macalee), Leroy Moore (Donna) and Robert Lee Moore (Gail); aunt, Dorothy Lloyd; nieces, Trini Moore, Teresa Moore, Kewanna Moore, Markitia Robinson and Kadesha Mason; nephews, Robert Moore, Jr. and Kasisi Moore; special cousin, Darlene Lloyd-Green and friend, Bennie Taylor. The visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of College Hill, Friday, December 12th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
