Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Willie F. Pearson "Frank" of Tampa who passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, will be held on Saturday, January 25th, 11:00 a.m. at New Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1509 E. North Bay St., Rev. Otis Cooper, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Willie "Frank" Pearson was born January 21, 1940 in Macon, Georgia and a resident of Tampa, Florida. Willie enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Katie Pearson, sister, Joyce Pearson, daughter, Valerie Pearson and niece, Cindy Carrolls. His loving and cherished memories will be shared by his loving family children, Roderick Willis, Willie Pearson, Jr., Darryl Pearson, Sr. and wife, LaVonya, Carol Basley and husband, James, Beverly Henry, Dedra Rodgers and husband, Howard and Francina Pearson and husband, Rowland; grandchildren, Marcus, Larry, Danerio, Tobias, Quingon, Seantinae, Eldrick, Iesha, Tangela, Tyesha, Dujuan, Clemecia, Darryl, Jr., De'ara and Ty-kia; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Rogier Pearson and wife, Beaurie; nieces, Brenda Pearson, Queshon Puckett, Twanda Woodall and James and Gaguetta Emanuel; nephews, David Pearson, Rogier Pearson, Jr. and wife, Rose; close friend, George Cooper; and a host of sorrowing relatives and friends; special thank you to Allen and Polite family. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 24th from 5 to 8 p.m. The friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
