Obituary

Deacon Willie Prince Reddish of Tampa, Florida passed away on May 12, 2011. A Home Going Celebration will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at Beulah Baptist Institutional Church at 1006 W. Cypress Street., Tampa, FL. 33606, Dr. W. James Favorite, pastor with Rev. Delores J. Cain, officiating. Deacon Willie Prince Reddish was born on July 8, 1939 to the late Gary Reddish and Lila Mae Thomas. He was raised by his aunt, Dora Chandler. He graduated from Smith Brown High School in 1959 in Arcadia, Florida. Deacon Reddish was an active member of Heritage Christian Community Baptist Church of Lutz. FL. He was employed by Alterman Transport Lines as a driver for 35 years. He had been retired for 8 years. For the past 7 years he owned his own handyman and lawn service business, Prince Handyman. Since August of 2009 he had been an active member of Heritage Christian Community Baptist Church of Lutz, FL, under the leadership of Rev. Delores J. Cain. He was an ordained Deacon and an active member of the Men's Ministry and the Shepherds Staff Ministry. He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife of 16 years, Linda Reddish; his children, Jacqueline Reddish, Willie Prince Reddish, Jr., Aaron Reddish, LaDenna Mouling and LaShawn (Dewayne) Weathers; his grandchildren, Shamauria Walton, Lutia Pratt, Ashawnti Flournoy and Alvin Bronson; his great grandchild, Dorrell Ford; his sisters, Debra Thomas, Carolyn (Earnest) Luther, Lila Mae Thomas and Diane Moultrie; his brothers, Jerome (Sandra) Reddish, Calvin (Sue) Thomas and Lawrence (Ava) Budgett; his aunts, Viola (Calvin) McDaniels and Elizabeth (Reno) Greenlee; his uncles, Alfred (Roberta) Thomas and Freddie (Kate) Thomas; his father and mother-in-law, Elijah and Lena Wesley; his sisters-in-law, Erma (Lee) Anderson, Deborah (John) Wesley and Mary Reddish; his dear friends, Alvin "Pee-Wee" (Gwen) Baker, Roy (Tina) Demming and Darrell Johnson, the Heritage Christian Community Church family; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The viewing will be held Friday, May 20, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday for the service.
