A Homegoing Celebration for Rev. Willie Frank Sheppard, Sr. of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019 will be held Saturday, November 23rd, 11:00 a.m. at Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 8119 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Pastor Eugene Garnett, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Willie was born August 25, 1941 to the late Rev. C.H., Jr. and Sarah Sheppard. He attended Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church, where he was the assistant pastor. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Joseph Sheppard. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his loving wife, Delois Lowrence Sheppard; children, 1 daughter, Angel Oaks, 2 sons, Willie Frank Sheppard, Jr. and Kenneth Sheppard; a host of grandchildren; aunt, Gloria Davis, of Boston, MA.; special niece, Sarah Delvalle Jordan; nephews, James Roberts Sheppard, Jr., Anthony Sheppard, Equa Sheppard, Chris Sheppard and Henry Sheppard; special cousin, Rev. Clarence Sheppard; cousin, Ron Coleman; special friends, Deacon and Sis. Dwight Brown (Angela) and Sis. Vickie Brown; friends, Bro. and Sis. Melvin Wright (Brenda), Marilyn Streeter, Pastor Eugene Garnett (Katie) and Deacon Eric Watkins (Tycie); a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him. The visitation will be held Friday, November 22nd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church, the family will receive friends during the visitation. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
