Homegoing services for Mr. Willie Charles Walker, Jr., "Junior" of 9848 Joe Ebert Road, Seffner, who passed away, on Friday, May 8, 2009, will be held on Saturday, May 13th, 11:00 a.m., at First Baptist Church of Progress Village, 8616 Progress Blvd, Pastor W. L. Jackson presiding and Dr. Antonio Wilkerson, eulogist. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Willie Charles Walker, Jr., was a native of Tampa, Florida. He was educated in Hillsborough County Public Schools and a graduate of East Bay High School and also attended Hillsborough Community College. He was employed by Tampa Electric Company for 13 years. He was preceded in death by his son, James Edwin Walker. He leaves to cherish fun and loving memories with: his loving and devoted wife, Deborah Walker; daughter, Tiana (Jonthan); son, Willie Charles Walker, III (Wanida); granddaughters, Jamie and Jasmine Walker; parents, Mr. Willie Charles Walker and Mrs. Claudia Walker; brothers, Willie L. Walker (Eleanor) and Michael Walker; sisters, Diana Griffin (Johnny), Yvette McCoy (Clint) and Rosalind McDaniel (Pastor Hayward); aunts, Carrie Burston and Emma Jean Crews; uncle, James Walker; father-in-law, Mr. James Reese and Mrs. Bernice Reese; sisters-in-law, Shirley Davis (Danny) and Susan Reese; brother-in-law, James Reese; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. The remains will repose at Aikens Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday evening. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church for the service.
