Funeral services for Mr. Willie James Watson, Sr. of Tampa, Florida, who entered into eternal rest and went home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2014, will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at The Center for Manifestation Church, 3102 E. Lake Ave, Apostle Mark T. Jones, pastor officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Willie J. Watson, Sr. was born in Millen, GA on October 16, 1932 to the late Seabie L. Watson, Sr. and Bertha Nesby Watson. Willie attended the schools of Millen, GA. He was baptized and a longtime member of First Baptist Church of College Hill. Willie was retired and had worked for 33 years in construction work. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 7 sisters. He leaves to cherish his loving memories: brother, Paul Height, Sr. (Cora) of Tampa, FL; 3 sons, Willie James Watson, Jr. (Erma) of States borough, GA, Ronnie Watson of Tampa, FL and Donnie Watson (Connie) of Augusta, GA; 4 daughters, Deborah Watson (Stanley), Barbara Wilcher, Bobbie Reddish and Cheryl Clark all of Tampa, FL; 17 grandchildren, Sharon, Shantella, Shannon, Natasha, Kimberly, Renarda, Jamesha, Chavante, Tanisha, Katrina, Jeffrey, Dedric, Ronald (RJ), Donnie, Lloyd, Jamie and Jaquin, 37 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 2nd from 5 to 7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
