Willie Arthur Williams, Jr. was born on April 4, 1958, in Tampa, Florida, to Willie Williams, Sr., and Mildred Wiley-Williams. He graduated from King High School in 1976 and then received his Associate of Science degree in Electronic Technology. Willie started his career as an Electronic Technician at Motorola Inc. in 1979, and after 27 years of service, explored other paths and roles throughout his life. Willie was a kind and gentle soul who lived a simple life, rich with curiosity, loyalty, and quiet passion.
He was a lifelong fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and his love for football was unwavering and heartfelt. You can always catch him on any given day wearing a Buccaneers hat or jacket. He was a collector at heart and found joy in collecting comics, sports cards, and Buccaneer memorabilia. In his spare time, he found interest in fixing and setting up old devices and technology. Willie will be remembered for his quiet strength, genuine heart, and ability to find happiness within his family and the things he loved.
Willie was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Wiley-Williams; sister, Beverly Parham.
Willie is survived by his children, Kervin and Krista Williams; grandchildren, Jarel and Jaylee Williams, and King Scayle; brothers, Melvin Williams (Ann), Timothy Williams (Daphne), and Tommy Williams (June); sisters, Beverly Parham and Bridgette Buster (Paul); nieces, Sopheia Russ, Tenell Woods, Sorena Rawlins, Latoya Russ, Krishan Butler, Katrina, Felicia, Brittany, and Ashley Williams; nephews, Michael Turner, Keenan, Raymontia, Timothy, Jr., Tommy, Jr., Anthony, and Wesley Williams; grandparents: Willie Green and Tommie Mae Wiley, Charlie and Annie Mae Williams; former spouse, Gail Murphy, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
