A celebration of Life service for Sister Williemae Harris of Tampa who passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 will be held on Saturday, June 15th at Northside MB Church, 5706 N. 20th Street at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Ricardo Robinson, officiating. Interment will follow. Williemae was born to the late Roosevelt and Irene Harris in Adele, Georgia in 1937. She moved to Florida at a young age and began her career as a barmaid on Central Avenue and throughout the bay area for over 30 years. She gave her life to the Lord and joined Northside Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Jacob Jordan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie; brother, Roosevelt Harris and sister, Ruby Lee Palmore. Sister Harris had love in her heart and a smile for everyone she met. She leaves warmhearted memories with: her son, Lorenzo; daughter, Yvette (lo) Derric; her grandchildren, Meka, Tikki, Lorraine, Troy and Deon and Gabby (2) sisters: Hazel Campbell of Fort Myers, Shirley McPhearson; (6) nieces, Pearl Going- Jones of Fort Myers, Johnnie Mae Reeves, Lil Shirley, Saminthia Jackson (Mint), Denise Covington, and Michelle Covington; (6) nephews, Jason Goings, James Flannings, Willie Flannings, (Tommy) Robert Palmore, Jr., Andre Palmore and Marvin Palmore (Pookie); (5) sisters in law, Linda Lawson, Pam Beckwith, Cheryl Culberth, Carole (Yvonne) Lawson and Darlene Lawson and (1) brother-in-law, Darrell Lawson of Tampa; godchildren, Alma, Diane (Red), Vivian and Edward of Tampa; devoted friend of thirty-eight years, Juanita Priester; loving companion of fourteen years, Theodis Sanks of Broxton Georgia; and a host godchildren, grandnieces, grandnephews and friends. The visitation will be held Friday, June 14, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home. The family and friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at: 10:45 a.m. for service.
