A graveside service will be held for Mr. Wilson Brascom at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., January 30th, 11:30 a.m., Bishop Henry J. Rodman, officiating. The first sunrise for Mr. Wilson Brascom, Sr. was on March 20, 1964 in Tampa, FL. At a young age, Wilson was baptized in The Pentecostal Church of God. He attended School in Hillsborough County. He worked for Honeywell as a Lab Technician for many years, and later as a Security Officer for Whacking Hut. Wilson had a very kind heart and would give you his last dollar if you needed. He was loved by all. On January 22, 2010, Wilson enjoyed his last sunset as he was called home to be with his Heavenly Father. Wilson was preceded in death by his father, Hayward Brascom, and two brothers Carl E. Brascom and Michael Brascom. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Queenie Bivens and stepfather Willie Ed Bivens, of Atlanta GA; daughter, Jamesha Brascom, of Tampa, FL; brothers, George Brascom, Sr. and wife Tricilla, of Tampa FL, Kenneth Brascom, Sr. and wife Verlisa, of Plant City, FL, Steven Brascom, Sr. and wife Vigilia, of Atlanta GA; sister, Beverly Anderson and husband Myron, of Atlanta GA; step-sisters, Fannie Young, Elizabeth Bivens and Margaret Bivens, all of Tampa, FL; uncles, Edward Mitchell and wife Annie, of Shreveport LA, Joe Mitchell, of Denver CO, Luther Mitchell, of Fairhope AL; Aunts, Julie Newt, of Modesto CA, Minnie Lou Mitchell, of Shreveport LA; a host of nieces and nephews, Michael Bivens, Jr., Andre Russell, Kiki Brascom, Kayona Bivens, Kenneth Brascom, Jr., Tashona Best, Keshia Brascom, Natika Brascom, Kia Brascom, Ellisha McKiver, Stevina Brascom, Jarvis McKiver, Steven Brascom, Jr., George Brascom, Jr., Kiara Hunter, Demarkis Rivers, Sidney Rivers, Jr., Ty-Kings Rivers, Prince Brascom, Malik Brascom; his favorite cousin, Roscivia Smith; Special Friends, Nate Coleman, Penny, and a host of others. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home Friday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet Saturday at the graveside.
